Biography

Hi my name is Debbie BennettI have been singing for about 46 years ( my mom said I would stand in front of a mirror with a blue hair brush and practice for the Opry when I was 3) I was blessed to write my first song when I was 8 years old.and God has blessed me to have 8#1 songs here in the USA and I am excited about the opportunity of coming to your area  I have been awarded Song writer of the year as well as Female Vocalist by several different organizations and I am nominated again this year in the Agape Fest Awards. I been blessed to be able to sing at the White House during the Bush Jr. years in 2006 and to sing at the Grand Ole Opry as part of  Sunday Morning Country for the last 3 years and will be part of it again this year  Kind of the middle child of 5 kids and both my parents have gone home to be with the Lord. My Mom in 1995 with a massive heart attack and my Dad in 2003 with a massive stroke. In Jan. 2011 I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer and have since had surgery on feb.7, everything has been happening so fast. I know that God is useing me and I want to always use the gifts he has given me for bringing glory and honor to HIM! I will go wherever he opens the doors and provides the way to share with others who Jesus is!
