"Cavern perform a Sixties tribute show that recreates the vibrant sounds and atmosphere of the Swinging Sixties era, from the famous Beat groups from Liverpool and the UK, performing classic hits from groups like The Beatles, The Searchers, The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Hollies, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Herman's Hermits, The Trogg's, Manfred Mann, The Mersey Beats, The Rolling Stones, The Monkee's, and many other great groups from the fabulous Sixties.
Cavern are a Five piece group and their line up follows in the footsteps of many Sixties bands as well as every member providing vocals we have a stand alone vocalist bringing back memories of bands like Hermans Hermits, Billy J Kramer and the Dakotas, Brian Poole and the Tremoloes, Freddie and the Dreamers and many more.
Cavern bring The Sixties back to life, taking the audience on a magical musical history tour, through One of the greatest musical decades of all time showcasing acts that have appeared at the famous Cavern club in Liverpool during the Sixties. It's a fast and vibrant show, designed to get everyone dancing along, as near a recreation of a Sixties pop concert like Ready Steady Go, Top of the Pops as you can get.
Cavern use original instruments from the period, including a Rickenbacker 325, Epiphone Casino, Gibson J160E and the famous Hofner Violin Beatle Bass, and a five piece Ludwig drum kit, together with the classic Vox AC 30 amplifiers.
Cavern faithfully recreate the original recordings as closely as possible, performing Live vocals and Guitar, Drums and Bass to specially recorded click tracks featuring additional instruments, i.e Strings, Keyboards etc, to give a complete full and authentic sound, the ultimate Sixties musical experience.
Cavern are fully self contained including P.A and lighting and hold full Public Liability insurance.
Cavern perform in front of a specially made full size backdrops designed to take the audience right back to the Cavern club and the Swinging Sixties, the illusion is completed by the classic Beat group stage clothes of Black thin lapeled suits, narrow leg trousers, White button down collared shirts, thin ties and the famous Cuban heeled Black Beatle boots.
Cavern have performed their unique show all over the UK and abroad, they are available for any type of function, from corporate entertainment to private parties, hotels, holiday centres, outdoor festivals, social clubs, and theatres.
In 2007 they have had the honour of being asked to perform at the annual Beatles festival in Liverpool.
In 2008 the boys were asked to appear again for the festival held in Liverpool's capital of culture year, the boy's performed a headline slot to over 10,000 Beatles fans from around the world on a floating stage on the Albert dock right on the river Mersey, once again the Mersey sound and The music of the Beatles and Liverpool Beat groups was heard across the Liverpool waterfront.
